bound figures
Conway, Arkansas
2017-2018
These works explore the ways in which the marks of relationships outlast the maker. As people move in an out of our lives, we bend and shift around them, and they around us. Sometimes we may not notice the new structures in place until much later; sometimes, we place bonds upon ourselves we don't know are there. Even as the relationships expire, the bonds that held us together remain.
