About
I am a multimedia artist and ceramics instructor based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. I am interested in the transient nature of memories, the strange ways in which objects pass from having a purpose to being refuse, and how we determine what to hold on to and what to let go of. Much of my work is inspired by the dichotomy between decay and preservation, and I am often striving to explore and identify the marks we leave with one another and with our environment. My projects include ceramic & textile sculpture, theatrical production, garment construction, quilts, oil painting, and finding new life in discarded materials.
